Summa is not offering V-shaped bits. However, specialized (bit) stores offer bits that are compatible with Summa routing systems (check your collet size (3,4 or 6 mm), and maximum outer bit-diameter should not exceed 11 mm.
When using V-shaped bits to achieve a folding line, a down offset should be used.
Also, the Dynamic tool diameter compensation should be disabled to route on the line.
Normally, V-Grooves are combined with lines completely through the material. If your machine is equipped with an ADC, bit changes are possible while I job is in progress. The machine will pause the job and request to put another bit in the machine.
Without an ADC, two jobs need to be done. When performing print&cut, the location of the print can be determined by reading the marks twice. However, with blank material, it should remain in the same position during the tool change. Also, the origin should not change. In Axis control, the origin X and Y values can be read and set.
