1. Reset License File:
When you use another dongle of SummaFlex on an exiting installation than SummaFlex will pop-up with an error during startup:
When no barcode workflow is installed:
- Click on the "OK" button of the "Copy protection key" error
- Than select the button "License File..." and select the correct ECFN file or enter the "serial number" you got with the key.
When barcode license is installed:
- Than first select "CANCEL
- Remove the license file: extra license file will need to be remove in SummaFlex folder: LicenseEx.xml:
- Than double click the correct ECFN file, and copy the file to the SummaFlex folder.
2. Reinstall HASP Driver
- Uninstall the HASP driver in de device manager,
- Remove dongle, restart computer,
- Install latest driver: https://supportportal.gemalto.com/csm/?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0018320
- Insert the USB dongle again on another USB port and check if driver is being installed.
3. Activate Log File
To know exactly what is going on during the start up you can generate a log file on the computer that shows the dongle error.
The log file can be activated by the following setting in the eurocut.ini.
[Defaults]
log=1
If you run the software again, it will write the check.log into the SummaFlex program folder.
