SummaFlex Pro - Unable to Find Copy Protection Key

1. Issue

When Summaflex Pro shows an 'Unable to find copy protection key' error. This could be due to the multiple reasons found below.



2. Driver / Dongle Fix


1. Download the 'Donglefix_current folder.bat' file found in the attachments.

2. Copy the file to the SummaFlex install folder. By default this is C:\Program Files (x86)\Summa\SummaFlex Pro


3. Run the .bat file. It will open the command line. Press any key to continue.

4. Click ok to continue the installation of the driver.


4. Once the HASP drivers are removed, click ok and press any key to continue.


5. Once the driver has been installed, click OK and press any key to continue.


6. The driver has been updated successfully.



3. Replace Dongle

If the above fix did not work, the dongle is most likely broken and needs to be replaced.

In this case, please contact rma@summa.com and order a 500-9505 SummaFlex Replacement Dongle.
