S Class 2 - Dual head: Pen to Knife Offset Calibration

This procedure describes how to calibrate the offset between the knife and the pen.

Incase there is a shift between contours drawn with the pen and the contours cut with a knife, then this procedure has to be executed.

1. Power on the cutter.

2. Put a knife in the knife holder.

3. Put the knife holder in the tool shaft.

4. Put a pen in the pen holder.

5. Load media in the machine which you usually use for the job.

6. Verify knife settings (knife pressure and depth).

7. Click “Settings”.

8. Click “Pen offset”.

9. Click “Test”.

The cutter will make an L shaped test pattern, consisting of an L shaped line being cut, and an L shaped line being drawn. Both shapes should be one over the other. In case there is a mismatch, adjust the pen offset values and click “Test” to verify the setting.

10. Click “Apply” to confirm.
