To use the machine from a network, you can use a print server supporting the RAW protocol. The USB class of the cutter has to be configured to emulate a printer. The machine USB class needs to be set to Printer UNI or Printer BIDI for the USB port to emulate a printer USB port. This option is usually used for sharing the cutter over a network using a print server or to drive the machine from a Windows printer driver (Generic/Text only). Using one of those options, it is not possible to query information from the cutter, e.g. the software cannot read the media size from the cutter.
