Xpel is a company that sells protective film for cars and has a program with templates for all car models. Therefore, the program has a couple of restrictions to protect the database with all the templates. So it is not possible to export or save to any other file type, the output can only be done directly to a cutter.
The following procedure shows how to connect Summa cutters to the computer through Ethernet connection for working with the program DAP: https://support.summa.eu/support/solutions/articles/43000480880-roll-cutter-add-a-generic-printer-to-windows-10-for-ethernet-connection
Settings in Xpel
1. Choose connection. Click on plot the connection and chose the driver by clicking Change in the Plot window. Choose the ip connection that was just set up under plotter selection.
2. Choose the connection plotter language by choosing HPGL under Plotter communication Protocol.
