In case the layer info is gone and only colors are available in Coreldraw when you import a job, it is advised to use DXF format in PackLib during the export.
Remark:
1) You would only export to use the design in Corel or Illustrator when you want to edit the box (e.g. placing graphics on the box, editing the creasing or cutting lines, placing markers around the job). When no editing is needed, use the Export button "Summa" to export the job to OXF format that can be used in GoProduce or SummaFlex:
2) Other formats to export:
AI format should be used for Illustrator
PDF format will not embed the layer info as it is PDF format 1.4
3) Other solution (not recommended):
The other solution would be that you import jobs by separating the color. This can be done in GoProduce, however we do not recommend working this way as it can give problems with specific colors not matching or markers not being recognized. See solution link below:
Use the following procedure to export the design in PackLib to DXF format:
1) Click the Export button and select DXF.
2) Click Save on the new window that is displayed.
3) Select CorelDRAW, make sure "Always use this app to open .dxf files" is checked and click OK.
4) CorelDRAW will open, change settings as needed and click OK.
5) Now layer info will be available.
6) The layer names need to be changed to “Methods” used in GoProduce or Tools for SummaFlex.
7) A Print and Regmark layer name can be added by using the Plugin or other manipulations if needed. It is advised to add the regmarks as last layer to avoid scaling the markers by accident.
