This manual describes how you can create and restore a back-up.
1. Software
All Summa software downloads can be found at: https://www.summa.com/en/support/software-firmware/
Required software:
- Summa GoCare v1 or higher
2.Preparations
- The machine must be connected to a computer by USB.
If a vision option has been installed, the internal PC will be connected to the machine by USB. - Start the machine.
- Start Summa GoCare.
3. Back-up and Restore
Below is an example of how to select how you want to create your back-up. This is exactly the same for selecting how you want to restore your back-up file.
- Right click on the ‘Device – Back-up’ (1) action. Alternatively you can select the action on the side and click the ‘Edit action set’ button.
- Select the ‘Back-up’ action (1), select how you want to store it (2) and click OK (3).
There are 2 possible ways to create and restore your back-up:- Cloud storage (default): stored on Summa server.
Requires internet connection. - Local storage: stored locally on the computer or external hard drive.
Click on and select a directory you want to save the back up.
- Cloud storage (default): stored on Summa server.
- Click the action you want to perform.
