Where can I find the Summa support Knowledge base?
You can reach the Summa support Knowledge base when you go the Summa website or just go directly to the support URL

When you go to that link you will see the homepages of the Summa Support.
When you click on “Knowledge base” (1) or “View all articles” (2) you will see the complete knowledge base.

What information can I find on the Summa support Knowledge base
Public section: The Knowledge base shows articles that are made by the Summa (sales) support agents to answer common questions of users.
Dealers only section: Secondly the Knowledge base will show Technical documentation for dealers only.
The Knowledge base is made of different “Categories”. Each category has folders containing articles related to the category folder. On folder level Summa can set “access rights”.
The categories are split up according to the different machine types. Following categories you will find on the knowledge base:

Are there different access rights to Summa support Knowledge base
On folder level Summa can set the access rights. There are 2 different levels of access:
- Public: For all to view, as soon as people reach the knowledge base people will see the public folders
- Dealer only: Only dealers that got certified (training) in specific model types will see these folders. Dealer only folders will contain information that should only be used by trained technicians: Replacement guidelines, spare part guides, service maintenance guides, service calibrations...

Who gets “dealer (partner) access” to the Summa support Knowledge base
Only dealers that are certified by Summa for a specific model will get access to the dealer only folders. As soon as you have a trained technician in your company than all contacts of you company have rights to that folder. Based on the company mail address we will provide the needed access. It is important to use your company mail address to make sure you get the access.
For example:
Company: Service UDP
Dealer technician that got training: John.karton@serviceudp.com
All users with mail address x@serviceudp.com will get rights to the “dealer only” folders
How can I login as dealer (Summa partner) in Summa support Knowledge base

When you do not have a Password or you did forget your password you select “Forgot your password?” A new window will pop-up to enter your mail address and reset your password:
Instructions to reset your password will be emailed to your registered email address. Make sure also to check your SPAM folder.
Who do I need to contact when I do not see all partner info?
When you are a Summa trained partner and there are people in your company not having access to the knowledge base than contact support@summa.com to send the request for access.
Where can I find the pricelists, marketing documentation, logo’s and branding...?
Pricelists, marketing documentation, branding guides, RMA tracking you will not find on the Summa Support Knowledge base.
This kind of information can be found on the “MySumma” section of our site.

Where can I find the factory backups of the Summa units?
Summa started in 2010 to make factory backups of the units. The factory backups of the units can be found on the Summa Support pages under “Software / Firmware”
